Telling a visual story through sculptured creatures and abstract motifs

Shop

My work is a celebration of nature, the decorative arts, folk traditions, and whimsical motifs. I’m inspired by the colors, patterns, and rhythms found in the natural world, and what makes my work unique is how I translate those elements into vibrant, abstract compositions. I love studying the shapes and shadows of animals and plants, breaking them down into simplified forms and reimagining them through layers of color and intricate pattern. Much of my visual language is inspired by rosemaling—a traditional Norwegian folk art known for its flowing lines, stylized floral designs, and detailed brushwork. I use this influence to create contemporary pieces that feel both timeless and full of joyful energy.
